Patient Comfort

We offer advanced dental techniques to make your visit as pleasant and effective as possible.

Electronic Anesthesia

An excellent alternative to shots. Two soft pads, which are connected to a hand held unit that allows you to control the anesthesia, are placed on your cheeks. When you leave, there is no numb lip or discomfort.

Drill-Less Dentistry

Dr. Doueck sprays a gentle stream of particles onto your tooth which quickly and gently removes decay from the cavity, without drilling and often a shot.

Waterlase Millennium

Dental researchers and scientists are constantly inventing new ways to make our practice more efficient and pain-free. Our practice has been a pioneer in laser dentistry for years and we are proud to make the Waterlase™ Millennium available to our patients.

What does it do? The Millennium uses Waterlase technology to perform a variety of dental procedures, including cavity preparation, caries (or decay) removal, tooth etching, and a wide range of soft tissue (gum) procedures.

How does it work? The Millenium system uses laser-energized water to cut teeth. It significantly improves your comfort in the dentist’s chair, and causes no heat or vibration in your mouth, no drilling noises, or overheating of your teeth. Remarkably, it also treats soft tissue gently and efficiently. Millenium emits a laser beam that energizes a highly precise spray of air and water. The water droplets absorb the laser energy and become laser-energized water particles that, when directed at the tooth, rapidly remove enamel, dentin, and decay.

Heat and vibration are the causes of most of the pain associated with the drill. With the Millennium, many dental procedures can be performed with no pain, virtually eliminating the need for anesthetic in those cases. The laser’s pinpoint accuracy is very precise, allowing us to make a conservative preparation so we can leave behind as much healthy tooth structure as possible. The Millennium also performs numerous soft tissue (gum) procedures with little or no bleeding. The laser is a new high tech tool for many procedures that previously required referral to a gum specialist. Now you can have them performed at our office during your regularly scheduled appointment. We’re proud to be able to offer this new technology to our patients, new and old.

Intraoral Camera

To provide you with the highest level of care, we make the intraoral camera part of your dental team. The camera’s small size allows Dr. Doueck to get an up-close look at the surface of your teeth and areas that are normally hidden from view. This allows us to catch hard to find problems, including hairline cracks, which often lead to future problems such as broken teeth or root canal.
